This wooden residence is located in the small village of Bohumileč in the Pardubice region of Czech Republic. The house has been designed by Mimosa Architekti for a single family of four. It has been built to look rustic from the exterior, but it incorporates all the features of a contemporary modern house. It offers its inhabitants a cozy & comfortable living environment.

Apart from its design, one of the coolest things about this house is where it is situated. Located in the picturesque Czech countryside amongst lush vegetation & beside a water body, the design & look of the house almost mimics its surrounding. It almost blends into its environment & yet stands out in many ways.

The southern orientation of the house gives it an east-west axis which also divides the house into southern living & northern service wings.

The house is storeys. The ground floor consists of most of the living spaces including a large entrance zone and an integrated open-plan living area with a kitchen, dining room, bedroom & bathroom. All of these areas are separate but are interconnected with one another. The entire interior has been painted white to separate it from the color of its surrounding green environment. The entrance zone is located in the northern façade of the house. All the rooms situated in the ground floor have a southern orientation except for the bathroom & the lavatory.
